History
The company A.L.A. Ltd. (Advanced Light Aircrafts) was founded in 1985 on account of Alfredo Di Cesare's passion and engagement, active person in the ultralight field since time immemorial.
The firm, after a 5 year experience in the import of ULM aircrafts from abroad, planned and carried out an aircraft called Jet Fox 91, that, allowing for the previous experiences, met the acceptance of the market thanks to its kind of configuration, to its flight characteristics and to the low maintenance and repair costs.
In 1991, this aircraft began to be wholly produced by the company A.L.A. with the help of external firms, which supplied high quality semifinished products, whereas the raw materials were purchased from the best qualified Italian and foreign suppliers. The year 1991 also saw the prototype maturity and regulation and the beginning of the mass production with the result of 140 aircrafts sold until all the year 1993.In the same year the German certification "Gutesiegel" was obtained for the different prearranged motorization (Rotax 582, 618, 912 engines).

This certification, very desired by the majority, and obtained after the getting over of very painstaking and serious technical tests, assured that the aircraft could bear stresses unlikely observed in the every day ULM flight reality, and so assured a very high security level. In that occasion, the noise tests were overcome too, so that, since that date, the Jet Fox 91 has become completely compatible with the European effective rules. During its life, the aircraft was improved several times in order to achieve such a quality to deserve praises and fame all over Europe, and it's possible to verify that, by the plenty of articles published in specialized magazines.
In 1995, on the spur of the successes obtained by the Jet Fox 91 and with the impelling need to satisfy demands of a considerable increase in aircraft requests, as well as to place the staff increased number, the firm expanded, the company EUROALA Ltd. was founded and a new aircraft, called Jet Fox 97, was put on the market. This aircraft, recalling the Jet Fox 91 for its structure, is different from this last one because it is characterized by a well developed aerodynamic design, such as to better the efficiency and reach a high autonomy.
All the improvements made, are the result of a close collaboration among well-known engineers in the aeronautical field and of advanced structure plannings, with the use of first-calss materials.
The optimization study of the geometry of such an aircraft has been made with a VSAERO software, which calculates the aerodynamic characteristics of flight configurations in subsonic fluxes. The strcture planning and its assemblage have been developed by using respectively the Finite Element Method and Solid Modelling, elaborated with the aeronautical CATIA software. As consequence of that, the aircraft has immediately received the desired success. Specialized print praises its good points and, in the meanwhile, purchase demands have come in the firm EUROALA by a lot of Italian and foreign pilots. Germany, France, Portugal, and China itself, have advanced proposals to create, there, concessionaries and centres of distribution.
Even China, has proposed to produce the Jet Fox 97 in cooperation, specifying the amont of governmental funds, already approved. What above said, lets see a market not only limited to the Italian one, but also projected, step by step, all over the Community both European and foreign. For this reason, in the middle of 1998, in consideration of the future possibilities, the aircraft was certified in Germany and France. In 2001 it was certified in Israel and Spain too. Actually, the firm technical staff is engaged in the planning of an aircraft made of aluminium, with low wing and innovative aerodynamic solutions.
